I purchased this book a few years ago as a gift for a friend. After hearing my friend rave about it, I later purchased it for myself from Amazon, and it's repeatedly proven to be a wise investment. I've enjoyed making these recipes for myself and for friends. Although some of the recipes are common sense, many of the suggestions create delicious meals from the typical ramen noodle dinner.
This book is for people who are on a BUDGET, who want something relatively quick and simple. Just thumbing through the book, you notice how simple these recipes are, and it's so easy to make something your own by adding extra seasoning or fresh scallions here and there.
But it's a big drain on my wallet, and so I decided to cut out going out to lunch everyday. I'm a big "foodie", and love hitting up all the local hotspots in the city.
I just finished making the creamy mushroom soup, and I love it. I heard about this book from so many people and decided to go to my local Borders and buy it.
One of the best decisions I ever made. Yea it's not filet mignon, but if that's what you're looking for I suggest you look elsewhere.
I only wish I would have discovered this little book while I was in college, would have saved me some major moolah.
The item was as expected. Very nice cookbook. I had no idea there were so many recipes for ramen noodles. It was delivered fast. Would highly recommend seller.
There are a lot of easy recepies in this book. I got it for my step-son who is always to worn out from his job to do much cooking.
this is one of the better gifts I've given. My nephew is off to college in September and being on his own for the first time we knew he'd need something quick,easy and cheap to eat. This book has got some great recipes and my sister even copied some down for herself before her son took it with him. I'll be getting her one of her own next.
